Educator

JA India can help you prepare you students better for making career and educational choices. At your invitation we can arrange for business people, volunteers and leaders from industry to visit your classrooms to share their experiences and teach students about the world of work. We will provide the training, materials, and the people necessary to run JA programs – all we need is your enthusiasm and willingness to give the students an opportunity to learn about working life and see how principles learned in the classroom are applied in real life situations.

We will recognise schools that have participated significantly in JA programs and competitions via a School Roll of Honour to be published on JA India’s website at the end of the year.

“Junior Achievement India and Lilavatibai Podar Senior Secondary School ISC have a close association since the last three years. LPSS students have been participating in the JA organised HP Innovation Relay Events since 2011 and the recent Blackberry STEM camp in 2013. The students from LPSS have done a commendable job and have won national awards in both the events this year! All this would not have been possible without the superb guidance given by the JAteam. They have mentored our students and worked with the school in harnessing their talents and bringing out their entrepreneurial skills. The JA team has also conducted workshops with the secondary school students where they got to interact and learn from professionals from the industry, which made them aware of various career options and gave them a glimpse of the corporate world.”

- Mrs. Norina Fernandes, Principal, Lilavatibai Podar Sr. Secondary School ISC
